AP POLYCET: Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test

AP POLYCET is also known as Polytechnic common entrance test which is the state level entrance exam conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training of Andhra Pradesh. The AP POLYCET Exam is carried out for the students who want to pursue Diploma Course. The Diploma/ CEEP Course include Technical, Engineering, Non-engineering in Private & Govt Polytechnic Colleges.

  • Online application starts: March
  • Last date to apply: April
  • Admit card release date: Third week of April
  • Exam Date: April
  • Answer key available from: May
  • Results release date: May
  • Counselling dates: May to June

AP POLYCET Eligibility Criteria

  • Aspirants who are appearing for the AP POLYCET exam must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the POLYCET Notification. The eligibility criteria for AP POLYCET mentioned below.
  • The Applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Candidates must Complete SSC Examination/ 10th Class from a recognized university.
  • Candidates belonging to NIOS/CBSE/ICSE/ other examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. govt should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with minimum of 35% marks in each subject
  • There is no age limit for the AP POLYCET exam.

AP POLYCET Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The question paper will come from class X level. There will be 120 multiple choice objective type questions from class X Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English.
The duration of the exam was two hours.
