The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Andhra Pradesh was established academic year 2015 – 2016. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal was the mentor institute. NIT, Andhra Pradesh is the 31st institution of the NIT chain started by the Government of India. The Institute is offering B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D. and MS programmes. The NIT Andhra Pradesh Campus has been established with 172.6 acres of land adjacent to Chennai-Kolkata Highway (NH-16) in the air-strip lands of Tadepalligudem. The full time study programmes offered by NIT Andhra Pradesh are residential in nature. Hostel Facility is provided to boys and girls.
